Last month, we learned about eight puppies in need of rescue. While we connected with a local rescue to take them in, we knew the work couldn’t stop there.
On the properties where the puppies were born, there were four unaltered dogs and twelve unaltered cats, leading to the risk of even more homeless litters. Through our RARE FIX program, we stepped in to help.
Working with our clinic partner, CASA Clinic, we arranged for all sixteen animals to be spayed and neutered. Our team drove an hour each way to transport the animals for their surgeries and safely returned them afterward.
The elderly gentleman caring for the animals was deeply grateful for our support, as he couldn’t afford the surgeries or manage transportation on his own.
This is just one example of how RARE FIX makes a lasting impact, preventing future homeless pets and supporting our community. Together, we’re making a difference—one spay and neuter at a time!
